Description:
As part of a rental contract, Waagner-Biro Bridge Systems supplied an extra-wide (EW, 4.20m) construction site bridge for temporary use to a power station operator in Tyrol in 2020. Designed for 40-ton vehicles, the bridge featured a single span of 54.9 metres, spanning across the Oetztal Ache. Waagner-Biro’s scope of supplies also included the delivery of a launching nose, rollers and hand tools for assembly of the bridge. The bridge was assembled and launched under the supervision of a Waagner-Biro expert in just a few days.
Assembly, launching and installation was completed during the Covid-19 lockdown in March/April 2020 under the strict observation of all protective measures.
