Description:
On the Abbas - Bafq railway line in the Iranian highlands Waagner-Biro installed the bridge structures for two double-track railway bridges. The two curved bridges with inclined supporting structure cross sections are located in a mountainous desert region at approximately 1800 m above sea level. The structures are 360 and 440m long including spans of 60 and 80 m each, respectively. The services of Waagner Biro included the supply of the bridge structure, delivery of erection equipment and supervision of erection.
