Description:
The Youtefa bridge, Papua middle span project was carried out by a Consortium of 3 construction State-Owned Enterprised companies PT. PP (Persero) Tbk, PT. Hutama Karya (Persero) and PT. Nindya Karya (Persero) (PP-HK-NK Consortium).
The Konsorium appointed PT. Waagner Biro Indonesia to carry out design reviews, manufacturing, transportation and installation.
The project consists of the construction of 5 pillars and a steel arching bridge with a total span of 400 meters and a width of 20 meters.
The uniqueness of this project is how it is installed using the "Strand Lifting" method which provides 3 (three) main advantages:
Faster installation time
Minimize the risk of earthquake effect during installation
Does not require extensive land so it does not cause environmental damage
