Description:
At the Austrian Railway track Vienna – Salzburg in Oberthalheim, the gated level crossing was replaced with a bridge. The new steel supporting structure for the composite construction was delivered by Waagner-Biro.
The erection department of Waagner-Biro was charged with erection and welding on site. The steel supporting structure was executed using 54 m long and 90 cm high I-shaped longitudinal girders reinforced with bottom flanges. The total weight amounts to 127 tons.
