Waagner-Biro Bridge Systems experiences a rising demand in the services and maintenance field in Europe. Many steel structures have reached an advanced age leading to a growing need for refurbishing, replacement or reconstruction.

With thousands of tons of bridge equipment on stock, Waagner-Biro offers a wide range of temporary and permanent bridging for rental, hire and sale across Europe and worldwide. There are three main types of bridges available for temporary and quick bridging: beam bridges, panel bridges and truss-type modular bridges. Our renting or hire options are especially advantageous for provisional bridges that are used only for a few months or even years.

Waagner-Biro‘s temporary bridges are ideal for locations needing provisional access for heavy-duty vehicles. They are ideally suited for use as emergency structures to sustain key road links and to maintain vehicular traffic during replacement of existing bridges.

Whether it is a simple or complex infrastructure project, Waagner-Biro carries out maintenance, service and refurbishment in accordance with the highest internationally required standards.

Waagner-Biro operates a warehousing system that ensures that one-lane or two-lane bridges, including the necessary assembly and launching equipment, can be delivered within a few days should an emergency or disaster make it necessary. This way a lot of valuable time can be saved in an emergency.
